Africa regional training presentation: Financing strategy

UNDP Africa Finance Sector Hub collaborated with UNDESA, UNITAR, UNECA in organizing the INFF regional training event from August 24 to 26. High-level country representatives from Gabon, Tanzania, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Malawi, Sierra Leone, and Cabo Verde shared their experience and good practices on the implementation of INFF in their own countries at both national and local levels. The event attracted 685 participants from 62 countries across the globe. This included participants from governments, development cooperation agencies, private sector, universities/think tanks, CSO and UN entities.

Sharon Spiegel, Chief of Policy Analysis & Development at UNDESA’s Financing for Sustainable Development Office, provided an overview of the INFF building block 2: financing strategy, including why the building block is important, the major components of the building block and the suggested approach.
