National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic

The Kyrgyz Republic is at an important stage of its history where the prerequisites for its long-term development as a politically stable, economically strong and socially responsible state have been created for the first time. In its contemporary history, Kyrgyzstan has experienced a fundamental transformation that changed all spheres of economic and social activity. Independence was accompanied by the dismantling of old ideology and the seeking of a new paradigm, creating the basis for the development of a modern, dynamic and successful society and new civic identity.

The Kyrgyz Republic National Development Strategy defines the strategic benchmarks for the long-term development of the country, taking into account future challenges. It formulates a vision for the future of the country, setting out basic principles and strategies to achieve development goals in all spheres of life. In addition, it identifies priority medium-term steps to launch the country’s strategic vision.
